Children love to play and experience new things, make friends and have fun so this is exactly what we offer at Alegria Club, a performing arts club introducing students into the magical world of theatre and dance, where they can explore a range of fun activities whilst developing new skills and increasing their artistic knowledge and appreciation for art

 

               Alegria Club was founded in 2011 by Ruxandra Chelaru (Sandra) actress and choreographer with over ten years experience in working with young people as a dance and drama teacher as well as in leading workshops and organising events and theatre shows for both, children and adults. Following her passion for teaching and love for the performing arts, Sandra wanted to crate an environment where everyone could join and learn new skills in a fun and exciting way.

 

             Sandra holds Qualified Teacher Status, a Master`s Degree in Contemporary Dance – Choreographic Art, a Bachelor`s Degree in Acting – Performing Arts and IDTA teaching qualification in Ballet. She also has experience in teaching Jazz, Ballroom and Latin dance.
